Q.) What payment options are available at yoyoGstring.com?
A.) yoyoGstring.com currently accepts credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, or American Express) through PayPal. I currently do NOT accept International Money Orders in any denomination. PayPal(and credit cards through PayPal) is currently my only payment
option.

 

Q.) How many G-strings are in (one) order?
A.) G-String, unless other wise stated in the item description, is sold in 10 packs.

 

Q.) Am I guaranteed to receive the colors of the items I've ordered?
A.) I believe that you should get the items for which you asked. That being said you need to realize that I buy thread in bulk and colours may vary slightly from order to order but I do my best to remain true to the design images you see in the catalog.

 

Q.) What's the cutoff time for you to ship my order on the same day?
A.) I ship orders out daily, often within an hour of the order being received. I have a postage meter in my home to facilitate this speedier process. Email notifications are sent within one hour of your order being placed in my Post Box, which is just a block away. (Updated July-01-2009)

 

Q.) Can I cancel my order?
A.) Sure thing, but only if I haven't shipped your order. CONTACT me and we will chat.

 

Q.) If my PayPal payment is 'pending' or 'processing' will my order be shipped before it clears?
A.) No, I will hang onto your items until the payment clears. The reason is that until the payment has cleared it can be cancelled by the sender. That would suck.

 

Q.) I just placed an order, but I forgot to add a few things to my cart. How can I add items to my order, now that my order is already placed?
A.) Send me an e-mail through the CONTACT page with your order details and I'll take care of it! Just make sure you let me know as soon as you realize what has happened. You have to make sure to tell me before I ship your order!

 

Q.) Can yoyoGstring.com reserve an item for me?
A.) No, I can't! I am a small home based operation and simply cannot handle reserved orders. If you want it you will need to make a purchase payment.

 

Q.) What if I receive damaged, defective, or non-functional items?
A.) Really? From me? Weird. Send me an E-MAIL with any and all details and I'll make sure you end up happy.

 

Q.) If I add items to my cart, does that mean they are reserved for me?
A.) No. Adding items to your cart is simply just adding items to your cart for checkout. This does not remove the items from the inventory, meaning that they're still available to those who want to order them. Only when you complete the checkout process will the inventory decrease.

 

Q.) I want to send an order as a gift to someone. Could you please leave out the 'cost details'?
A.) Sure thing! I will even include a special note for you - just let me know in the "Notes" section during the checkout process. It also wouldn't hurt to send me an E-MAIL with the details to cover all the bases.

 

Q.) Does yoyoGstring.com ship to my country?
A.) I ship to any country in the world, just as long as there is a functioning postal service there! If you want, or require more detail, feel free to E-MAIL me and we can talk about it further.

 

Q.) How much do you charge for shipping/handling, and how soon will my package arrive?
A.) When you add all your items to the cart and select from the available shipping options a final shipping cost will be presented to you. The transit time of your package will vary (and be displayed) based on the shipping method chosen.

 

Q.) Can I "Pick Up" my order if I am in the area?
A.) SURE! If you are nearby and want to stop in for a nice Mocca and some throwing just let me know in the "additional notes" section with your payment and order details. I will refund any shipping costs and we can hang for a bit. Drop me an E-MAIL and we can suss out the details.

 

Q.) Can you send me a tracking number for my order after you've shipped it?
A.) In order to keep the somewhat 'pricey' costs associated with Canada Post down I am NOT able to provide tracking numbers, even for international orders. If you choose a speedier, and subsequently pricier, method then I would certainly include this information with your shipping confirmation email.

 

Q.) How will I know when you've shipped my order?
A.) Once I ship your order, you'll get a "It's Shipped!!! Sweet Eh?" e-mail. Easy Peasy!

 

Q.) Where is yoyoGstring.com based?
A.) yoyoGstring,com is 'based' in the basement of my personal residence Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.

 

Q.) When was yoyoGstring.com started?
A.) I first posted my "play threads" on YYN in April of 2006. I had been making G-String for myself for a few months previous to that date.

 

Q.) When does yoyoGstring.com restock its inventory?
A.) I am constantly restocking the inventory. If the product you're looking for is currently NOT in stock now, check back in a few days to see if we've restocked. You can also send me an E-MAIL with your thoughts about what YOU would like to see in stock more often.

 

Q.) I just found your site and want to make a purchase but I know absolutely nothing about yo-yo string. Can you recommend something for me?
A.) It would be my pleasure! All you have to do is E-MAIL me. Just be prepared to answer a few questions such as:

* Skill level (all we need to know is if you're a beginner or not)
* The style of yo-yo play (1a-5a) you play or would like to play.

We can both work together to be sure you get exactly what you need from your purchase.
