Format: CC (Cotton Core)
CC which stands for Cotton Core. It is the yoyoGstring version of 50/50, or as it perhaps is more commonly known 'slick 6 or 8'. This labour of love is a yoyoGstring that doesn't lose playability over time. Players are getting an average of 15-18 hours or more on a single CC yoyoGstring. I love CC because it is:
- Firm, yet soft and flexible.
- Has 'body' without being too thick.
- Binds tight, as if brand new, even after many hours of play.
- Loves every response type I threw at it.
- The smaller aspect allows many layers in the gap.
- Holds its tension remarkably well.
- Snappy binds with NO snags.
Format: NOLY
(This format has not yet officialy launched and is only available in the yoyoGstring Tester Pack bundle.)
NOLY is a new direction for me in terms of the materials I use and the methods I employ to create yoyoGstring. NOLY contains a delightful mix nylon and polyester threads. The nylon creates a core aspect that provides fantastic play in terms of suicide (the loops can be massive!) and slack play while the surrounding polyester softens the overall 'feel' of the string and actually bonds to the nylon as you warm it up during play. This gives each NOLY string a soft and supple, yet firm, string with a 'single strand' build that whips amazingly.
Format: SC (Soft Core)
SC, softcore, was created in response to the online yoyo communities feedback on CC (Cotton Core). Players wanted a faster break-in time and smooth tring while not sacrificing the playability (slacks, suicides and speed) that the Cotton aspect brings to the string. SC is roughly a 70/30 Polyester to Cotton mix that takes this into account. Smooth playing and long lasting.
Format: BNC (BouNCe)
The rapid loss of that 'new string bounce' in mass-produced factory string is the main reasons most players change their string so often. BNC was designed to provide those yoyo community members who wanted a yoyoGstring that could maintain that "new string bounce" which many players love, for much - much - MUCH longer. With a slightly thicker aspect (but not as fluffy as the PX format) The BNC format holds this bounce for ages. Hence the name BouNCe. Players have remarked on how they love the "subtle" bounce and have felt no sign of it fading even after hours of play.
Format: Intentus
Intentus utilizes a whole new twisting method I call 'CORE' to create a super 'core' string with a slightly smaller overall diameter while still utilizing a 'strength-reliable' thread count. It was designed for those players who prefer even MORE tension on their main players while still enjoying the visual aesthetic that G-String provides. The slightly thinner diameter also caters to a smaller gap for multiple layer tricks.
Format: SSE
SSE stands for Slack/Suicide Edition. This format uses my 'D2' twisting method to create a G-String yoyo string with a tension perfect for Slack and Suicide play. They start out a bit firmer but soften up while still maintaining the SSE level of play. SSE is available in all of my current designs.
Format: TH
To provide those players who enjoy the SSE format, along with the tension and playability it provides, with a G-String yoyo string that will hold itself together during play while not requiring a huge bearing gap to accommodate extra layers of string. TH is 'THinner' than my other G-String yoyo string formats. But don't let its overall thickness fool you. This format will still outperform your expectations. If you prefer a gap that isn't "shimmed-out" wider than a 4 lane highway I suggest you give it a try. (The TH format may vary slightly from the catalog image as it uses a variable run count depending on design.) This format is ONLY available as a special order item and is NOT stocked in the webstore. Drop me a line if you'd like to place an order.
Format: PX
This is my favorite format for out-and-out fun yoyo throwing. Inspired by a custom request for something similar to the 'rope' that some Polish players have used. PX is a thicker string overall. It performs slacks, whips and suicides with ease and is massively visual all at the same time. If you are seeking a string that will hold up to anything you can throw at it, never lets you down, and can be seen for miles...PX is for you. (The PX format may vary slightly from the catalog image as it uses a variable run count depending on design.)
Format: Original (The format formerly known as Regular)
This is the original G-String yoyo string format. Super soft on the hands and will significantly reduce string burn. If you are looking for the softest G-String yoyo string that is still playable look no further. The Original format, due to it's longer length and overall softness when compared to cotton/slick strings, is a favorite among 4A players. This format is ONLY available as a special order item and is NOT stocked in the webstore. Drop me a line if you'd like to place an order. |
